Kuopio University Hospital Epilepsy Center signs contract with Epilog to implement EEG source imaging in their presurgical work-up of refractory epilepsy patients
Epilog, a fast-growing global med-tech company based in Ghent, has just signed a collaboration agreement with Persyst, a US based company and global leader in EEG software. The partnership will enable Epilog to scale the commercialization of their biggest clinical EEG source estimation product, PreOp, with plans to develop it further and make it widely available across epilepsy centers in the US and Europe.
Epilog, a fast-growing global med-tech company based in Ghent, has added a global senior health-care executive to its team to guide the company's worldwide expansion across clinical solutions, CNS clinical trials and brain research. With the appointment of Jurgen Van Broeck as Co-CEO, Epilog moves to a next phase in their growth trajectory. Together with current CEO Dr Gregor Strobbe, Van Broeck will roll out an ambitious strategy for 2020 and beyond whilst scaling Epilog to a healthy global med-tech company.

Better Late than Never: In 2018 Epilog attended and presented at over a dozen of international and national conferences, held several workshops and seminars and therewith could share their newest developments in the field of automated EEG analysis. With sincere appreciation, we thank everyone of our clients for their continued support and trust they have placed in us. Click on the title to see the video.
Proud that Epilog // EEG Diagnostic Technology is involved in this great prospective trial the epilepsy community was screaming for for a while. This is another big milestone in our journey to strengthen the position of EEG source imaging in the presurgical evaluation in epilepsy. Our platform was sort of designed for this kind of studies and we hope to maximize our contribution to the trial with our fantastic technology and maybe more importantly, the services that are coupled to it.
In this satellite symposium several validation studies of automated interictal ESI are presented. We will then move on to discuss interesting cases that illustrate the value of interictal ESI in the preoperative work-up. The last part of the symposium is dedicated to the localization of ictal EEG. Ictal ESI is the new frontier of advanced EEG analysis in the preoperative work-up, and may allow localization of the seizure onset zone rather than the irritative zone. We will discuss how new analysis techniques enable electrographic seizure localization and their validation status.
The 4th European Academy of Neurology conference was the perfect launch base to introduce Epilog’s new clinical service: Epilog Diagnostic. The Epilog Diagnostic technology is based on the technology of their previous product Epilog PreOp. The know-how and experience that was gained with PreOp is now translated in this new innovative product with one simple goal: saving time interpreting overnight or 24h EEG recordings to accurately diagnose epilepsy.
Happy to announce that Michel Kerger is joining the Epilog team. Michel will become the face of Epilog Diagnostic.
